Over the next few years, we will be bombarding our poor server with all of the information, pictures, news, stories and educational information that we have collected over the decades.

We got the idea for RetroWaste back in 2005, when we were selling vintage clothing on eBay under the name simply-vintage-clothing. We would buy loads of vintage clothes in bulk, but we really had no idea how old they were. Sure, you could guess that these pants were from the “seventies,” but we wanted to know specifically.

Well, we did the research and are now passing it along to you.

In addition to vintage clothing, we have deep interests in several other types of collectibles: vinyl records, sports memorabilia, Hollywood memorabilia, vintage cars, vintage video games, vintage toys and vintage musical instruments, to name a few.

We have done an incredible amount of work to post all of this information, but we are having a blast and have gotten hundreds of supportive emails from students and retro-lovers worldwide. We are so happy to share our love for the past with everyone and look forward to continuing this project years into the future.

We will start with the 1920s and move our way through history chronologically for the most part. Our goal is to one day make RetroWaste the most entertaining and educational vintage online experience. We have an unimaginable amount of work to do, but it is all so worth it.
